GALA SWIMMING: GRADE 2, 3 AND 4

There will be gala swimming for Grade 2, 3 and 4 girls at Rustenburg Girls’ High School on Tuesdays from 16.30 – 17.30.  Any girls who are able to swim 25m in any of the strokes can attend the first practice on Tuesday, 12 October.  We need to build our team again as we did not swim in the first term due to the Covid restrictions.  Your daughter does not need a school costume, just an appropriate one-piece, cap and towel and goggles if needed.  Swimmers may not arrive or leave the pool area in a costume and towel, please ensure they have clothing to wear over their costumes.

Enter RGHS through the main gate on Campground Road, drive around to the back of the school, park near the field and walk your daughter down to the pool, near to the astro.  Parents must then either wait in your cars or return to fetch your daughters, nobody is allowed at the pool area.

Indemnity forms for the swimming at RBHS will be sent home next week.  Please complete and return timeously.

GALA SWIMMING: GRADE 5, 6 AND 7

There will be no afternoon training for the Grade 5, 6 and 7 girls, perhaps one ‘swim out’ once we know more with regards to galas.  The Grade 5, 6 and 7 girls will only train in the morning, Tuesday and Thursday from 06.45 – 07.30 at Rondebosch Boys’ High School.  These training sessions will start as soon as we have final confirmation from RBHS.
