GR 7 VALENTINE’S DAY

As part of their fundraising initiatives, the Grade 7s will be hosting a Valentine’s Day Civvies day on Monday 14th February. Come dressed in red, white or pink for a fee of R20 (see snapscan code alongside). Girls are to please bring small change for the bake-sale.

MICKLEFIELD MARKET

SAVE THE DATE for the Micklefield Market on Saturday 12 March from 3-8pm. 

We will be asking for contributions of:

  • Second-Hand Books for the Book Stall. Books can be brought to school from Monday 14 Feb.
  • Small prizes for Games
  • Baked / Deli goods for the Farm Stall 
  • Prizes for the Lucky Draw

BVTS MICKLEFIELD TENNIS ACADEMY

The BVTS Micklefield Tennis Academy offers private coaching at Micklefield and at WPCC. Please click here BTVS Academy Info & Sign up for all the information.  We are encouraging anyone who wants to improve their tennis skills to sign up.

HOCKEY TOUR TRIALS– GRADE 6 AND GRADE 7

TRIALS:
Saturday, 19 February at Bishops Senior School astro from 08.30 – 11.00

SPORTS DAY

A reminder that Sports Day is on Saturday, 5 March and is compulsory for all the girls in the school.  The morning starts at 07.00 and ends at approximately 11.30.  The Grade 00 and Grade 0 pupils are able to leave at the tea-break which is normally between 09.15 and 09.30.  More information with a programme will follow nearer the time.

Congratulations to Sophia Trout who participated in the Western Cape B side Champs last weekend, coming 3rd in the Open individual 50 m butterfly and her team finishing 2nd in the Open Medley relay race.

Our gala team took part in their first gala of the season on Friday, 4 February at Pinehurst Primary School.  The girls swam very well.  The U0 girls won their breaststroke relay, the U11 girls won their backstroke relay and Sophia Trout won the individual Open 50m backstroke race as well as the Open 50m butterfly race.
