We are once again collecting new or gently used stationery for Outliers. Outliers will distribute the stationery to the school children who attend their afterschool programmes. Stationery can be brought to school and placed in the box in reception. Thank you for your support for this worthy initiative.

lions club sock-a-thon

Micklefield will be joining in on the  Lion Club  Sock-A-Thon World Project.  The aim is to collect an enormous number of socks which will be distributed to schools, homeless shelters and other organisations. The request is for donations of single socks of any type. Donations can be placed in the box in reception. The length of the sock line will be submitted to the Guinness Book of Records.

The U11A tennis team had a very successful day on the courts on Thursday, well done girls!

Grade 4s working on their Stop Motion Space Movies
Three Grade 6 girls, Tabi Porter, Sophia Trout and Mia Willoughby will be taking their Grade 2 Digital Practical Speech and Drama Exam this Saturday. Mrs G will be filming their performances and uploading them onto the Trinity platform to be assessed. We wish them well. They have been preparing since June and it is the first time Micklefield girls have been entered for these exams.
Some birds were spotted flying high in the rafters during a Grade 5 Drama lesson of The Magic Finger by R Dahl.

The Grade 3s have been learning about balanced and healthy eating. Their homework on Thursday was to pack a balanced lunchbox, including items from each food group. Their lunchboxes were analysed and they had to allocate each item to the correct group. What delicious feasts were enjoyed in class.

The Grade 7s put on the most incredible Games Day for the school. The games were challenging and cleverly thought out. Everyone had a great deal of fun! Thank you to Bronwyn Thompson for these beautiful images.

The girls and staff had such fun dressing up for Fictional Character Civvies Day on Friday. Can you guess who their characters are?
