Happy Women’s Day I wish all our girls and mom’s a Happy Women’s day on Monday. I reminded the girls at Assembly that the privilege of a holiday on Monday was hard earned by 20 000 women, of all races, who came together on 9 August 1956 at the Union Buildings to protest the abhorrent “Pass Laws”. Their protest was peaceful.
