Happy Women’s Day I wish all our girls and mom’s a Happy Women’s day on Monday. I reminded the girls at Assembly that the privilege of a holiday on Monday was hard earned by 20 000 women, of all races, who came together on 9 August 1956 at the Union Buildings to protest the abhorrent “Pass Laws”. Their protest was peaceful.
Collection of the Jars of Hope 93rd Birthday Initiative will be during the week of 16 – 20 August 2021.
