WPCC HOCKEY CLINICS
Please see the information on the Edana App under Documentation for the Sunday morning clinics that are being run at the WPCC.  We are trying to up the skill level of our players and extra time on the ball and field would be very beneficial for many of them.  Unfortunately one practice a week is not enough time to cover fitness, skills and game time!

weekly snapshots

World adventurer and author, Riaan Manser, kept our Grade 4 to 7 girls riveted, as he shared some of his fascinating and harrowing experiences related to his beautiful new children’s book My First African Adventure. His message of being brave and determined is one we certainly hope our girls take with them through life.

JUNIOR ASSEMBLY: We had the most amazing collection of seven young Pianists perform at our Junior Assembly on Monday: Audrey and Bianca Quinn, Tessa Farlam, Victoria Morkel, Jessica Clegg, Dani O'Ryan and Zara Mullaji. Watching those little fingers glide across the keys was such a treat! Sophie Fyvie performed a jaunty piece on the Recorder called High Heels and Trainers which included some very interesting sound effects.
BUDDING UKELELE’S: There is such a warm, fuzzy feeling of happiness when one sees a young child learning a new instrument. Their first musical steps indeed! Lwamila Ndindwa and Ndimphiwe Silingile are experiencing these joys under the able guidance of their teacher: Mr Alexandros Vavatzanidis.

Learning about ratios in Gr 6 Maths – fun with Smarties! The best Maths lesson ever!

Grade 2s drawing their teachers!
G2s building a tower of cards!
Prepared reading in G2 ... Stella reading about Stella (main character in the book) going to Earth.

Bravo to the Grae 7 cast, crew and director for their brilliant performance of At First I Was Afraid ..(I was Petrified!). It was a relevant and contemporary interpretation of  the play by Douglass Maxwell, in association with Wonder Fool Theatre. Thank you to all the parents who supported and the Grade 3-6s absolutely loved their Outing to the Theatre!
