weekly snapshots

The Grade 6 Entrepreneurs invited their organisation representatives to Micklefield last week. We will be showcasing these organisations every week until the end of the year. Please watch this space!

THE GIFT OF THE GIVERS

Micklefield was most fortunate to have Dr Imtiaz Sooliman pay the school a visit on Thursday 4 November. He was invited by Thanah Isaacs and Zara Ebrahim who had chosen Gift of the Givers as their entrepreneurial organisation for the year. Dr Sooliman’s message to the Gr 5, 6 and 7s was to always be mindful of the struggles so many people go through on a daily basis, and that in giving, without expecting anything in return, our lives become far more meaningful and enriching.

Assembly musicians this week : Asma Dawood and Simrah Ally (Piano) with Amber Smith (Flute) Congratulations to Sophie Burchell in Grade 4 who represented the U10 WP South Zone A tennis Team in an Inter-Zonal tournament recently, with WP winning gold! (RIGHT)

The Grade 7s were very lucky to learn some photography skills from Bronwyn Thompson. who took them on a for a 2-hour photography course last week.

Girls just want to have fun! Twilight Tales was a magical evening enjoyed by all!
