At Micklefield, we are committed to our mission statement, which is to ensure that every girl is given the opportunity to achieve her full potential and more, and that she is equipped with the skills she needs to become a successful leader and make a positive impact in the world.
Throughout the year, our small and caring community works tirelessly to ensure that our girls are exposed to a wide range of activities and opportunities that will help them develop the skills they need to succeed in the 21st century. From project-based learning to outings to places of interest, our girls have had countless opportunities to learn, grow, and develop.
Our academic program has been strengthened by our commitment to developing thinking skills through Philosophy for Children and Habits of Mind. Our girls embrace these challenges and grow into confident, independent thinkers who are ready to take on whatever challenges the future holds.
I am particularly proud of the way our girls show leadership, compassion, and a commitment to making the world a better place. They embrace social entrepreneurship and community service, and work hard to raise awareness and funds for organizations that make a real difference in people’s lives.
At the heart of everything we do is our commitment to maintaining sound moral values. We believe that being proud of who we are, being respectful, showing consideration, taking responsibility, and being friendly are essential qualities that will serve our girls well throughout their lives.
As we look ahead to the future, I am excited to see what our girls will accomplish next. I have no doubt that they will grow into strong women who will make a positive impact in the world, no matter which field they choose to pursue.
